Dr. Dupree


Dr. Dupree grew up on a farm in the small town of Martin, Louisiana. He graduated from Martin High School as the valedictorian and went on to Louisiana Tech University where he earned his Bachelors of Science degree graduating magna cum laude. He next worked and studied Biomedical Engineering at Tech and was published along with his professor, Dr. Pankajam Nair. In 1991, he was admitted to the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry where he also graduated fourth in his class with honors. Afterwards, he completed an Advanced Education In General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program where he studied and completed advanced cases with world-renowned doctors such as Dr. Gerald Chiche’, and Dr. Shawkey Mohammed.

Dr. Dupree began working in private practice in 1996 as an associate and then started his own private practice in 1998. Dr. Dupree is committed to excellence. He attends numerous continuing education courses during the year and is committed to staying up to date on the latest techniques and materials. He is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Louisiana Dental Association, Louisiana Academy of General Dentistry, The Academy of Sleep Medicine, International College of Implantologist, River Cities Study Club and is pursuing a fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Dupree also believes in giving back to his community and volunteering to help those in need. He has traveled on numerous mission trips to Mexico and he is a volunteer dentist in a program that provides dental care for the needy. Dr. Dupree lives and attends church in Shreveport with his wife of 21 years and their two daughters and son.  He enjoys spending time with his family and coaching his children’s ball teams.
